In this task you are required to gather 4 peer reviewed journal articles relevant
Task
In this task you are required to gather 4 peer reviewed journal articles relevant to Diversity Management or Workplace Diversity. You are to write a 300-word analysis of each article in a word doc following the format described in the reference below:
https://www.deakin.edu.au/students/studying/study-support/academic-skills/annotated-bibliography (accessed June 2024)
Criteria:
Your chosen articles must be:
a)a relevant paper on Diversity Management or Workplace Diversity published from 2021 onwards;
b)and is a peer reviewed research paper (i.e., contains a method and results section);
you will be awarded:
•up to 2 marks for finding a correct article (as per above requirements) and inserting the correct citation in APA7 format;
•up to 5 marks for your analysis depending on the quality of the analysis consistent with the criteria described in the assignment reference above.
“Reflection on how this work connects to your research or current assignment”, you just need to describe how the article connects to diversity management or workplace diversity.
Good overall presentation will be worth up to .5 of a mark for each article.
Your analysis should be in your own words as much as possible, but when you use sentences or rephrase sentences from the articles you need to include quotes and/or intext citations. Too much reliance on actual text from the articles rather than your own words will result in lower marks. The assignment reference cited above does say you do not need intext citations, but for this assignment you do, because you do also need to be clear that you are aware of and follow the requirements around plagiarism and collusion (see HDS210 Unit guide and “Your rights and responsibilities as a student in this unit”).
Include all 4 article analyses in the one document with your name, student ID, assessment number and title, due date, and word count (10% leeway on total word count) at the top of your submission.
Task Aims
The aim of this assignment is to encourage you to gain an understanding of current issues and research on Diversity Management or Workplace Diversity.
There is no need for a reference list at the end of the paper as the reference or citation should be above each article analysis.
A Dropbox will be created on the assessments tab on CloudDeakin. Your submission deadline is Thursday August 8 at 8 p.m.
Proposed timeline to completion
To achieve this deadline and balance your other commitments, we recommend doing this assignment in segments such as:
-Week 2 complete your library search and choose 4 peer reviewed articles in the date range given above;
-Week 3 complete 2 annotated bibliography entries;
-Week 4 complete 2 annotated bibliography entries;
